It is concerning that majority of social media platforms are ran by extremist oligarchs. It's sad that so many in the labor force subscribe to capitalist ideology without awareness that their party doesn't represent their interests even in the event of being a "business man". End stage capitalism doesn't value the interests of a free market, or a business owner, it values the interests of mega corporations. We will eventually implode financially. It can't expand forever.
Correct, in capitalist societies, private corporations constantly seek new profits and one way to do that is to infiltrate and co-opt democratic government to further grow profits.
We must bring about a society where government is cooperative and community driven without a state to oppress us.
Agree it was power play. But I think this might not be for too long. As we are seeing from Musk on X and both political parties they only allow “freedom of speech” until they don’t get criticized. Also it’s my understanding that Musk wanted to buy TikTok… I’m glad they didn’t give in. But we shall how long it will last
Ya Trump might use it as a distraction again later or the admin could just sign a bill to make it go away and claim they're the heroes for not banning it

Such as recently Tik Tok promoted a young person on cell phone saying "why did my cell phone die instead of me?" CCP has no business operating in US. They are horrible influence to children and dangerous! What would founding fathers say?
The Founding Fathers would say: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I'm no historian, but it appears to me looking back in history people tend to form larger and larger cooperative systems until they fail.
