The Democratic Party establishment has colossally failed us and ushered in a fascist Trump administration in the process. The only answer is a bottom-up working-class movement.
This entire article was a joke. You obviously didn’t look at the victory map, it’s red and will likely be red for many election cycles. Your party are the fascists and you can’t gas light the American people anymore. We have seen the utter destruction democrats can cause and wokness is your greatest failure. Bloated government, war mongers, corruption Trumps economy was the best this country had seen in 50 yrs. until Fauci and china created the china virus . It was a planned pandemic and killed millions with a vaccine that never should have been released. The truth will be revealed under Trump. A lot of truth will be revealed under the Trump administration and your party may never be in power again.
Well if your politics don’t boil down to all the red on the map your party is doomed to massive failure. Don’t fool yourself into believing that this new Republican Party isn’t going to continue to grow because it will . The radicals that took over the democratic system only fueled your demise. Will your party continue on the path of destruction? Likely yes because to reverse course will be to admit your leadership Isn’t serving the majority.
be-that-as-it-may, your article is full of off-basis things, like saying that white male voters (or Trump voters in general) were swindled by a fake assertion of 'shaking things up'. Regardless one's sentiment on the changes, Trump started making changes with real impact from (nearly) day one, even when you wrote this, and that's continued through today. Biden came in and very little changed, and on the back of rhetoric like 'things cannot change quickly that's not how our gov works'. Non-GOP parties can't keep on with that kind of rhetoric. it's dead and it'll continue to lead to election losses until people get real and make changes.
Very little changed? Look, you have to pick one or the other. Thought he was a dangerous Marxist commie radical, smothering the people with his fascist takeover of the government.
Damn you don’t do a whole lot of research before commenting. Most of the red are cows. If you think Fauci created a virus that other countries were capable of handling, believing that Trump doesn’t want wars when his first few weeks in office he has said he wants to take Greenland, Canada, Panama, Gaza you need an adjustment of your tin foil hat.
Yeah he said he was going to do those things but not through war and violence through diplomacy and being a true statement unlike farting Joe laughing stock for the world get a clue bro this shit is chess not shoots and ladders
He added 25% to the National debt in his first term in 2016. Look at the supposed budget this year, which could add another 10 trillion over the next 10 years? I would like MAGA to define woke? so I’m too woke watching Trump create a Bitcoin for anybody to pour in money for him? I’m too woke to watch an unelected South African run rampant on federal agencies? I’m too woke to hear conman tell lie after lie claiming he’s lowering prices. I’m too woke to want our troops safe and not have an alcoholic, womanizer on signal spewing plans to take out the Houthi’s? I’m too woke to know how ridiculous and not thought out these tariffs? I could go on but you get the picture.

U say Biden fixed inflation with the inflation reduction act??? Are you blind, low IQ, or just plain devious? Do you know what causes inflation? Inflation happens when additional money is thrown into an economy. If you increase the money supply, prices of goods rise because there’s more money to go around. Well actually the money becomes worth less when there’s more added and therefore it takes more dollars to buy the very same item that cost less before the money was added. Biden’s so called inflation reduction act was deceptively named and did exactly the opposite of what its title claimed. Why? Because it added 3/4’s of a trillion dollars to the economy. Right after the build back better act had just threw 1.85 trillion into the economy. Together your approaching 3 trillion additional dollars thrown into the economy and so the overall cost of all goods in America must also rise nearly 3 trillion dollars. Inflation exists because we were shackled with a fractional reserve fiat based banking system when the very private deceptively named federal reserve was forced thru Congress on Christmas Eve in 1913 when 90 plus percent of Congress was on Christmas vacation and so was passed with a handful of members voting for it. The handful of members who were obviously bought off by the international bankers to very intentionally rob America of its wealth. Prior to this the govt printed their own money at no interest and so there was no inflation. It took only $25.69 to buy an ounce of gold in 1913 because our money supply was much lower and therefore all goods were able to be bought for much lower costs. Today the dollar to gold ratio stands at $8,225.00 per ounce because of the insane amounts of interest on the debt and inflation. Yes you can buy an ounce of gold for $2,600.00 or so but that’s only because the markets are extremely manipulated in extreme efforts to prevent a systemic global financial catastrophic and total collapse. Before you know it a gallon of gas will cost us $20 and very soon after that $50 as the money supply and inflation curve is parabolic. It’s called hyperinflation and we should already be there if not for the constant criminal behavior of those running the system in their insane efforts to keep kicking the can down the road every single day making things worse and worse for our future and more importantly our children and grandchildren. The sooner the system collapses and we install a proper constitutional economic system the better for us all in the long run. Short term it’ll be devastating yes. With each day the can is kicked down the road the more devastating it’ll be. And the collapse is inevitable. It must happen as fiat based systems are designed and built as only temporary systems which must always collapse in the end. Why? Because it’s the tool designed and used by criminal corrupt assholes hellbent on global control and fiat based fake money systems is how international bankers take over control of nations. In a real economy with real money there is no interest on the money the govt prints because it’s not borrowed from anyone and its value is based on real world sound assets and resources. Therefore there is no inflation and so the prices of goods remains stable and constant over time. If gold cost you $25 in 1913 it would still cost you $25 an ounce today in a sound real asset based economy. So Joe Biden’s didn’t fix anything. He made it worse. Not to mention your article contains several other lies for which I don’t feel like getting into right now as I’m already passed my bedtime. I have to get up at 3:30 am to work another 14 hour day just to be able to survive in this ridiculous everything is upside down and backwards world. It’s time our entire govt and entire way of life is completely torn down, burnt to ground and rebuilt from the ground up as no amount of reforming the current structures will do. The rot and corruption is beyond fixing. If it were up to me the entire federal and much of the state and local govts would be completely abolished. A vast majority of of these political figures would find themselves living out their days in prison cells and everything would be redone properly.
You probably don't know this but overall inflation does not go backward, once prices rise, they never fall. The inflation in 2021 was caused by the price of oil skyrocketing during the start of the Ukraine War along with corporations being able to raise prices without consequence.
Inflation does not happen when "more money is thrown into the economy." If that was the case, why did inflation begin to rise when the federal interest rate was still at 0% and why did it continue to rise when the fed was increasing the rate? Obviously that makes no sense. I think you think the money supply and government spending is the same thing when it's not, so that's not the case either. If that was the case, Trump was a far bigger spender than Biden, he cut the corporate tax rate, began trade wars and oversaw the 2020 recession. Under Trump the debt-GDP ratio increased from 104% to 124% and it actually decreased under Biden to 123%.
And you say "Before you know it a gallon of gas will cost us $20" thats just straight up not true, gasoline prices have fallen to the lowest they've been in 5 years. Again, the Ukraine war disrupted oil imports.
I literally explain in the article that Biden didn't do enough to fix the economy for some reasons outside his control and other reasons inside his control so. Inflation on paper got fixed but obviously people's lives got worse and that's what I'm criticizing Harris for not paying attention to.
The reason you hate the government and the reason why theres so much corruption is because of capitalism. You can't have a government for the people by the people if you allow corporations to pay poverty wages and inflate the price of goods with no consequences while rich elites line their pockets.
Fuck 3 hours of my life typing on a phone to accidentally hit delete all.
Main point- of my rebuttals was the gold standard was abandoned years ago which is why gold costs 8,000 dollars an ounce today. We did it for many reasons. But mostly because silver in Mexico was abundant and we could make our currency much more valuable if we adopted the silver standard (which we did and it did) and took a ton of silver from Mexico (which we also did). Currency now is backed by a complex system based on the economy, gdp growth of the USA, Interest rates of bonds, some gold and some silver and the AAA credit rating with the world bank. Our currency is being used to back many other nations currency (meaning that when debt is paid from one nation to another I.e. Argentina to Brazil it at one point would have been done with pallets of USD.) (we for instance recently gave back France a bunch of their gold because we were borrowing it and sorta hanging onto it for safe keeping think Fort Knox or other Federal Reserve forts because at one point you could trade your dollars for gold) our currency the US Dollar. This has changed Recently when some countries stopped using the US dollar to back their money and have switched to crypto. Also Americans putting their trump stimulus checks into crypto helped push inflation of the usd. Truth be told we are not in hyperinflation thanks to Biden. By raising interest rates it slowed down inflation to a more normal rate (not pre pandemic levels but more normal) we will never see deflation as the last experience we had with that is the Great Depression-> there are too many checks and balances in place today to allow a deflated currency in the usd market. There is also to many checks and balances to allow for Hyperinflation. I know it happened in Germany to the Marx post world war 1 it was so bad they stopped printing on both sides of the paper because the ink was more expensive the paper currency was worth. Germans had to bring wheel barrows of Marx to octoberfest to buy single stien of beer. It was so comical and impractical that it's the one time they canceled the yearly festivities since it started. I don't see that happening here... yet. It sucks I mean my pay certainly hasn't changed but I use lunch as a good thermometer for inflation-> I went feeling like lunch usually would cost around ~10 or 13 maybe 15 dollars if I got something nice. Now it easily cost ~20-30 at McDonalds. However you pay everyone at McDonalds 25 dollars an hour when you were paying them 15 2 years ago the prices of the burger they make have to go up. That Only makes sense to me. C level executives are high fives all around and bonuses out the butts, franchise owners pocket some cash from "record profit quarters over and over" middle management (your middle class- ish) sees nothing maybe makes 26 dollars an hour. And the people now making 25 dollars an hour are having their jobs taken away by technology (hello ai, touch screens and an app). USA needs to heavily expand our workforce into trades, tech, stem and recreate a middle class. The way forward is to not repeate the mistakes of our forefathers- George Washington in his final presidential speech where he peacefully transferred the power of government to president Adams (a notable moment in history) he warned against the formation of political parties. "However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion." - George Washington Farewell address 9/17/1796
Good article but you missed the points that caused Harris to lose.
First of all was the way she presented herself. She wouldn't take questions on the fly from Americans right there with her and that caused ENORMOUS concerns with people about her fitness for the job. After what Americans had just endured with Bidens cognitive issues that arguably cost the election right there.
Second, her resume for the job of President was weak and by silencing her as I mentioned above you never reassured Americans that they weren't getting ANOTHER figurehead President.
I definitely think you're right on the first point, she needed to present more with people and meet them in person, answer questions. Bernie would often do really personal speeches to smaller audiences, he would go to small town churches and town halls in the Midwest. I'm not saying she had time to do that or anything but having rallies that are presented as bourgeois and are essentially pop concerts doesn't really work.
I think her resume was totally fine, especially compared to Trump who's a nepo baby that failed at running a casino. I don't think it was Biden's fault for sidelining her for the entire 4 years because she was so much more competent compared to her. I don't think she's a good politician, in a regular primary she wouldn't have won, even with the incumbency bias.
Reflecting on it more, I think this disaster has to originate with Biden. There's no one person that had the power to change this outcome more than him. This report by the WSJ shows evidence as early as 2019 that Biden was showing his age and well into his Presidency his mental capacity was decreasing quickly to where he was cancelling meetings. Combine that with his arrogance to stay in the race, it's first and foremost his fault. https://x.com/TheLibProj/status/1870116194763645101
Hit the snooze button on this headline. Scapegoating Trump for 20 yrs of incompetence and authoritarianism from the left is a bridge too far. Biased bullshit.
I'm curious how Dems 'cheated' but still lost... Especially when MAGA claimed Dems 'cheated' in 2020 when they weren't the incumbent party but now you say they cheated both years but somehow lost when they were in power? Make that make sense...
So the cheating in 2020 was 'well masked' even though there was a 7 million vote delta but the cheating was not enough to swing the vote in 2024 when Dems were the incumbent party... makes perfect sense
Alas, you go deeply off the rails when you claim "Gaza genocide." Expose your own intolerance.
Here's how Life works: It's 5 15 80.
The gifted 5% are driven to use their talents to improve humanity. Artists, scientists, writers. The Leonardos, Einsteins, Musks.
Most folks, the 80%, want a balance; work, family, leisure pursuits.
In between are the 15%. They envy, therefore hate, the 5%, but lack the gifts and focus. SO the 15% lash out in jealousy. In past times, the 15 end up at menial jobs, or in prison. Today, they fill academia, media, and worst of all politics. Grasping for power they do not deserve.
You know where you are, and must live with that truth.
Is this a parody paper or a satire site? Keep up the work to delude the base and so called progressives will continue to wander around in confusion. But appreciate your courage anyway.
Your claim of Trump being fascist is baseless; he didn't turn the U.S. into a dictatorship during his term. The real censorship and misuse of justice happened under the guise of fighting Covid-19, not by Trump but by the liberal establishment. Trump stands for WE, THE PEOPLE, not authoritarian control. Get your facts straight.
Context Matters: When Trump said he would "be a dictator for one day," he was clearly using hyperbole to emphasize his immediate action plan if re-elected. His statement was in reference to specific policies like closing the border and enhancing domestic oil production. This was not an endorsement of fascism or dictatorship but a rhetorical flourish to highlight his priorities.
Comparison to Historical Fascism: True fascism involves a systemic, ideological overhaul of society, suppression of opposition, control over media, and often, aggressive military expansion. Trump did none of these things. He didn't dismantle democratic institutions, he didn't outlaw opposition parties, and he maintained a free press, despite his criticisms of it. Compare this to historical figures like Mussolini or Hitler, who systematically eradicated opposition and turned their countries into totalitarian states.
Policy vs. Rhetoric: Trump's policies aimed at deregulation, tax cuts, and reducing government overreach actually align more with classical liberalism than fascism. His administration focused on reducing the size of government, not expanding it to control every aspect of life. The idea of "being a dictator for one day" was about bypassing bureaucratic delays to enact immediate changes, not about establishing long-term authoritarian control.
The Real Authoritarianism: The misuse of power during the Covid-19 response was predominantly from state and local governments, many of which were run by Democrats. These entities imposed lockdowns, mask mandates, and business closures which, in some cases, went beyond public health necessity into the realm of control over personal freedoms. The censorship you're talking about? It was largely from social media platforms and tech companies, often in alignment with government pressures, which disproportionately affected conservative voices.
Trump's Record: During his term, Trump did not engage in the hallmarks of fascism:
Freedom of Speech: He didn't shut down media outlets or censor free speech.
Elections: He respected the democratic process, even though he contested the 2020 election results legally.
Judiciary: He appointed judges, but within the constitutional framework, not by bypassing or subverting the system.
WE, THE PEOPLE: Trump's slogan "Make America Great Again" was about returning power to the people, reducing the distance between the government and the governed. His policies were designed to benefit the working class, not an elite or a single party's agenda. His administration fought against globalism, which many see as a form of modern-day control over national sovereignty, not fascism.
In conclusion, calling Trump a fascist because of one off-the-cuff remark, taken out of context, is not only an oversimplification but a misrepresentation of his presidency. If we're going to talk about authoritarian tendencies, we should look at how power was used or abused across the political spectrum, especially in recent times outside of Trump's administration.
In your first paragraph you literally prove my point that his plan is to take immediate action and isn't going to wait for the democratic process- which his congress will struggle to pass or have to completely capitulate.
In fact your entire comment proves my point- saying that immigrants "poison the blood of the country" is exterminationist rhetoric, his entire campaign was scapegoating immigrants and expelling large portions of the population, not just those incarcerated. Trump will undoubtably expand the military and he controls the press through the media billionaires that he has on a leash like Bezos and Murdoch. Trump will not cut government, I'm sorry you fell for that, he cut taxes for corporations and the wealthy last time while not lowering it for the bottom 99%, why would you expect him to do anything different? The mask mandate started under Trump and wasn't controversial until after he left office- funny how that works. Trump certainly DID incite an insurrection on the Capitol and will pardon the people involved, it doesn't get anymore fascist than literally attempting a coup on the government.
It's interesting how despite Biden reverting virtually none of Trump's policies, you would consider Biden to be the real dictator? How was the working class benefitted? Your taxes weren't lowered, you didn't get anymore benefits in fact he deregulated massive portions of the healthcare industry. Trump removed protections for workers and unions while flirting with repealing the ACA and social security. Not sure how in even the most charitable way you could say he made policies that benefited workers.
He was talking about executive orders that reverse the ones of the previous dictator... and you are just mindlessly repeating what you heard from people who lie for a living.
Nope, nice try though, you should actually read the article because I explain how dems lost because they didn't listen to working people's needs, im also not a liberal so you'd probably know that if you read
I admit I read most, not all your article so in true fairness I will complete it now. In fact the reason i chose to read it in the first place was because the title spoke of a working class revival.
“When neo-liberal philosophy begins and ends with identity politics to the exclusion of class politics, it robs the possibility of material change from marginalized people.”
Exactly! This is why you lost. Because there are both poor AND rich people in every single race, gender and class; Democrats constantly break us down into our smallest parts. Americans are sick of it.
I disagree with much of what you’ve said. I think you misunderstand Trump and his fanbase (increase genocide in Gaza? He just negotiated the end before he even became president). You’ve stated numerous lies about Trump constantly repeated by liberal media (ie. that Trump was convicted of rape) you underestimate the impact of mass immigration during Biden’s presidency, you forget how angry Americans were over the forced mandates and silencing of dissenting voices during Covid, you wash over Biden stepping down at the last minute forgetting that Americans noticed he was mentally incompetent long before that. And end capitalism? That is not the answer (should it have a course correction? Definitely as we have crony-capitalism now, not true capitalism).
I could go on and on, but I want to give you credit for recognizing the underlying reason is their abandonment of the working (and middle) class, which is most of America.
The question is, are the democrats willing to give up their monetary base from the out-of-touch elites to re-court the working class?
I ask just one thing from you though, be open-minded about Trump’s presidency. Everything he has said is in support of the working class. If he does not come through, (and I believe he will), I will hold him accountable. However, if he does I hope you will recognize and commend him for that accomplishment and not play party politics.
They lost because they don’t have any policies they don’t come up with any ideas or suggestions to benefit the country …. They just played politics. People would get behind the Democrats, but they need to actually have some good ideas and they don’t have any. They don’t even have bad ideas. They just don’t have any ideas at all. It’s all social engineering drama at home and wars abroad.
That was a long interesting read. I was very good to hear your take. I ddi write an article recently with some perspective from the other side pertaining to why the Dems lost. I would love your feedback. https://peterseedbread.substack.com/p/dems-need-marriage-counseling
What a joke ass piece, I didn't even want to finish reading this trash ass garbage. Seriously you say Trump is going to continue to fuck everything up? I'll help you pack if you don't it like it here, Trump has already done more in 72hrs than Biden did in 4 yrs.
It must be an immense privilege to live a life where your biggest concern in life is getting a vaccine and having to wear a mask in public to prevent other people from getting sick.
No, it's not . It's an argument accepting an unproven scientific assumption. Masking did not protect other people from Covid, nor did it have much effect on containing the virus - those are the scientific results disproving the assumptions. Your observations are merely anecdotal.
So you're claiming that by covering your face, one is somehow not preventing the spread of an airborne virus? Make that make sense. We seriously need to send adults back to high school so they can learn biology.
This entire article was a joke. You obviously didn’t look at the victory map, it’s red and will likely be red for many election cycles. If your politics boils down to seeing a bunch of red rural counties on a map, that tells you all you need to know.
Good criticism, that area is not people.
The powerful point is President Trump won the popular vote as well as electoral.
No he didn't.
Well if your politics don’t boil down to all the red on the map your party is doomed to massive failure. I'm confused how you think I'm a Democrat after reading this article lol
Genuine question- Is Chuck Schumer a radical to you?
Obviously. Pinko too! 😉

Thank you for reading 👍
One of the most polite demolishings I’ve ever witnessed ❤️
Hey thanks for reading
Endorsement of Dick Cheney. Cancellation of Democratic primaries. Liz Cheney.
Trump won bc he activated the American public. Dems still cheated. They’ll get theirs. ☠️
I'm curious how Dems 'cheated' but still lost... Especially when MAGA claimed Dems 'cheated' in 2020 when they weren't the incumbent party but now you say they cheated both years but somehow lost when they were in power? Make that make sense...
Cheating in 2020 was well masked.
Poll security in 2024 kept cheating below the margin of victory.
It's as easy as that.
Just as overwhelming popular outcry crushed progressive-pork bill a few days ago.
The republic is once again a true democracy.
So the cheating in 2020 was 'well masked' even though there was a 7 million vote delta but the cheating was not enough to swing the vote in 2024 when Dems were the incumbent party... makes perfect sense
I am always willing to listen to different views.
Democrats are lazy and allow the worst people of our country run their party.
Any proof for this bizarre theory?
Is this a parody paper or a satire site? Keep up the work to delude the base and so called progressives will continue to wander around in confusion. But appreciate your courage anyway.
Well written..but awful article. By winning, Trumpbought this country a lot of years.
Trump literally said word for word he would "be a dictator for one day" if that's not fascism I don't know what is
Vince, let's unpack this:
That's literally what authoritarian fascism is and you just tried to justify it lmao
This is the first person I have seen write something constructive and solution based. I voted for Trump, but I appreciate this🤍
I respect you having an open mind brother
I can tell by reading this exactly what you are. A white Millenial living in a big urban city, likely economically comfortable or living with Mommy.
Democrat Liberals like yourself, are sooo out of touch with the suffering of average Americans. That’s why Harris/Biden lost. Wake up.
Comments
So Republicans are fascist but Democrat vaccine mandates & lockdowns are not?
You lost me at 'hypocritical double standards'...
It must be an immense privilege to live a life where your biggest concern in life is getting a vaccine and having to wear a mask in public to prevent other people from getting sick.
That's just a false argument.
It's not an argument its an observation lol
No, it's not . It's an argument accepting an unproven scientific assumption. Masking did not protect other people from Covid, nor did it have much effect on containing the virus - those are the scientific results disproving the assumptions. Your observations are merely anecdotal.
So you're claiming that by covering your face, one is somehow not preventing the spread of an airborne virus? Make that make sense. We seriously need to send adults back to high school so they can learn biology.
